The fan of this 17.1 ounce (485 g) CPU cooler runs at a pretty fast 3450 RPM, and at 34.3 dB(A) it's not terribly loud. When Windows was operating in idle mode we measured CPU temperatures of 36°C (97°F); under heavy load this climbed to 63°C (145°F).
