The beta version of this device was already pretty impressive, featuring both high cooling efficiency and low noise levels. Using the fan controller, you can operate the fan as slow as 1,200 RPM; at that speed, it's nearly inaudible at 32.3 dB(A). Even at this low fan speed, the Vapochill Micro cools the CPU to 57°C (nearly 135°F).

The phase-change chamber ferries heat away

The small pipe provides an inlet to fill the chamber with cooling fluid before it's sealed at the factory.
At fan speeds of 1650 and 2250 RPM, the CPU temperature sinks further, to 52°C (125.6°F) and 48°C (118.4°F), respectively.
