SiS has begun shipping its SiS655FX dual-channel DDR SDRAM chipset for Pentium processors running over an 800MHz effective bit rate frontside bus. "Announced last May, the SiS655FX supports 266-400MHz DDR memory. Users can add use different ratings of DDR and still benefit from dual-channel operation, SiS claimed."
