SiS rides K8 chipset sales to higher margins in 1Q
Rising K8-compatible chipset shipments for notebooks helped Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) reach gross margins of 31.35% in the first quarter, up 9.45-percentage points on year, according to the company. The chipset maker anticipates another sequential jump this quarter.
