SiS indicates unstable AMD processor supply
Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) stated it will increase the proportion of its chipsets supporting the Intel platform, with the company listing risk concerns and AMD processor supply issues as being major reasons for the adjustment. For 2006, SiS indicated that its chipset product lineup had a ratio of 7:3 in favor of AMD, but the company said it plans to evenly distribute its chipset between AMD and Intel this year.
