Sirius tops six million subscribers
New York (NY) - Sirius Satellite Radio ended the year on a positive note as, in addition to achieving its first quarter with a positive cash flow, it topped the six million subscriber mark.
According to preliminary Q4 2006 data provided by the company, the subscriber base grew 82% from 3,316,560 at the end of 2005 to 6,024,000 in December 2006.
Additionally, Sirius announced that the last quarter has been the first quarter where the company had a positive free cash flow.
