Sirius today announced the introduction of the next generation satellite radio. The Sirius XACT XTR1 "Stream Jockey" Plug & Play satellite radio, manufactured by XACT Communication, will be first introduced to the public via the Home Shopping Network this Saturday, the company said.
Resembling a cell phone, the new unit is palm size and includes a 6-line screen display, S-Seek, program alert, a remote control, an internal FM transmitter for wireless connection, 18 presets, integrated headphone input and volume controls, car/home and universal docking kits and three boom box options.
The device is priced at about $100, the docking station runs for $60.
