Intel And ATI React

Intel seems to be unconcerned about the possibility of AmVidia coming up with even cooler 3D demos. An Intel spokesperson told us, "Well, we still have those blue guys, and they have their own show in Vegas. That's really cool, and the kids just love it. We're thinking of buying the Moody Blues, too. I love that Things in White Satin song they do."

We also asked Intel whether it felt threatened by AmVidia's combined expertise in CPUs, GPUs, and chipsets? An Intel spokesperson replied, "We will be extending IDF by 9 days, and putting more of our people in dark bars near the offices of Tier One OEMs. We also plan to introduce a new concept PC that will be shaped like a giant, psychedlic hamburger, and have a USB 2.0 port right on the front. Oh, yeah, it'll have wireless stuff all over it. It'll be really, really cool. Lots of people like hamburgers."

Intel has repeatedly told us that they are really, really cool.

ATi reacted by noting, "This does not have any impact on the value of our Canadian stock. We are going to have a really cool 3D demo using a cyborg moose that eats werewolves for lunch. So there."

Life Goes On

Yes, it certainly does. AmVidia is already poised to be the biggest producer of really, really cool 3D demos. If AmVidia can create really, really cool server demos then, there's no stopping the company from hitting Intel everywhere it hurts.

While opting to focus on the BeOS is a risky strategy, people point to the success of Apple in fighting off the Wintel hegemony in the PC business. As Steve Jobs has repeateldy told people, "We're still number one when it comes to innovation and usage by press people who write tons about us. It's just revenue and market share that seems to hold us back. Pixar rocks. Want to ride in my Gulfstream?"

As for Xbox - this is probably the end of the road for Microsoft. As everyone knows, there is nothing cool about Microsoft, and Nvidia single-handedly made the Xbox what it is today. AmVidia is unlikely to want to work with Microsoft when it has everything it needs to make its own Xbox successor. This leaves Microsoft with nothing more than the hope the Kyro IV works. Apparently, it doesn't. Oh, dear.

Bill Gates is believed to have told a gathering of his highest ranking officers, "Well, boys, I am really, really rich. This is your problem. Bye."

As for the average user............ there's no time like the present to register that AmVidiaxxx.com URL and start up your own Web site.
