Shipments of 15.4" widescreen notebooks to outpace 15" models
Shipments of 15.4" wide-screen notebooks are expected to outpace 15" models this year, as the price gap between 15- and 15.4" notebook panels has narrowed since the start of the year, sources in the Taiwan notebook industry indicated. The shipment ratio between 15- and 15.4" models will reach 4:6 or even 3:7 for the second half of this year, as opposed to 5.5:4.5 for the first half, the sources anticipate.
