Sharp to volume produce 'paper-thin liquid crystal display' within three years
Sharp recently introduced a prototype "paper-thin liquid crystal display", only 1cm-thin that can be used to remotely download data from the Internet, with volume production targeted to begin within three years, according to the Japan-based Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
