Sharp intros family room DVD burner with harddrive
Sharp announced the DV-HR500, a DVD-R/RW player/burner with a 250 GByte HDD. The main news about this device is the return of readable functions on the LCD (in Japanese of course). So if you are Japanese and were missing the fact that you could not control your DVD/HDD player like your 10 year old VHS/Betamax, this is the device you need. The price is set at about $900.
