Sexy Phone Accessories from Candie's and Motorola
OK, we don't really know how sexy they will be, but Candie's is the same company that put out those hootchie stiletto-heeled shoes for ladies way back when (before my time, of course). Yesterday, the company signed an agreement with Motorola to co-create, market, and sell Candie's signature mobile phone accessories for Motorola mobile phones. I've got to give you this quote: "Candie's, with its pulse on the fashion sense of today's young woman and Motorola, with its experience in delivering relevant wireless communications solutions to young adults, will collaborate on a new a line of accessories targeted at the Gen Y consumer." The Candie's/Motorola signature mobile phone accessories line is expected to include hard covers and cases, and will come packaged with other stuff to personalize their phone. Products will be available in stores beginning in the Spring 2002. Suggested marketing pitch: "A cell phone that calls boys for you even when it's not turned on."
