Server and Mobile Athlons May Debut Next Week
Despite the shortages of 1.33GHz DDR Athlon chips we mentioned last week , The Register says that AMD appears to be on target to unveil Palominos aimed at mobile applications and workstations at an event on May 15th. These particular little devils should be shipping by the end of June, and Register figures that AMD will launch its 760MP dual-processor chipset at the same time - which a lot of Tom's Hardware readers have told us they are eager to get their hands on.
