US to capture half of global semiconductor processing equipment in 2005
Semiconductor equipment from US-based manufacturers will account for 50 percent of the global front-end wafer processing market in 2005, up from 49 percent in 2004, according to Information Network.
The research firm maintains its forecast of December 17, 2004 that front-end equipment sales will drop 9.5 percent globally in 2005.
