Semiconductor group helps fund nanotech research
A consortium of members of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), of San Jose, is helping fund a study into the promise of nanotechnology.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Nanoeletronics Research Initiative (NRI), which is made up of SIA member firms, have agreed to jointly fund a national university-based research program for long-term nanoelectronics exploration, the groups annouinced Wednesday.
