Sega Denies EA Discussions
Sega Corporation issued a statement denying that it is in financial discussions regarding acquisition of its capital with Electronic Arts, Inc. Sega said that it is pursuing talks of merging its operational integration with Sammy Corporation of Japan. Japanese business daily, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, was quoted as reporting that EA is considering purchasing CSK Corporation's 22% ownership interest in Sega.
