Product Tracking
The addition of product tracking also leaves us some room to garner feedback in future about those products that are not showing up and being able to give data to PriceGrabber to go and source the goods that you are interested in. Right now, it addresses one of your concerns about getting the best pricing. You name the price, and get notified when a merchant is matching that price. It's not implemented right now, but in future, we want to be able to also get feedback from you on products that are not making into the system, and for us to be able to get PriceGrabber to link through to them.

There's some other nice cosmetic changes. We've actually changed the format of the Most Popular listings to closer reflect what products THG readers are going to be most interested in, based on the number of unique users that investigate specific products. The listings are kind of a good measure of popularity, but are, obviously, not scientific polls.
Which leads me onto some other updates that we are planning. We do want to make the format of Tom's PriceGrabbing Guide more specific to THG readers. Many of you have given feedback on how you would like to see us lay out categories, and that will happen.
Email Blasts From THN
Many of you will be reading this first on Tom's Hard News email blasts before ever seeing it on the site. The email blasts will probably evolve to include more content and information on site activities and reader feedback, as well as special features and news, that don't necessarily fit into the site's existing format.
For example, I know that everyone is waiting for Tom to reply to emails, but there's thousands of emails for him to personally get through, and we are going to try and find room on our email blasts to address your correspondence.
There are also opinion pieces, and shorter technology pieces that don't necessarily fit in on the main pages that are better suited in the newsletter format. So, if you want to be a part of that, please subscribe to the newsletter here .
We've also been thinking about ways to address your emails, the ones that we can address, and this seems like a good solution for now because, the site doesn't necessarily have the place for it, and not everyone goes through the Tom's Community pages.
Doesn't mean we can answer everyone individually, but at least we can address common issues and themes based on your feedback.
