(BUSINESS WIRE) - May 25, 1999 - NVIDIA Corporation announced today that in the May 1999 edition of VisionQuest 2000's survey of top-selling 3D graphics boards, the Creative Labs Graphics Blaster RIVA TNT, based on NVIDIA's RIVA TNT 3D processor, was reported as the highest selling product for March 1999.

According to VisionQuest 2000, an industry-leading market tracking service, the RIVA TNT chipset was also the top selling graphic chipset available through retail stores, outselling its nearest competitor by almost 60%.

May 24 /PRNewswire/ - 3dfx Interactive Inc. today announced that Gateway will offer an OEM version of 3dfx Interactive's acclaimed new Voodoo3 3000 graphics accelerator technology with its signature desktop line of PCs. Gateway will offer the 166MHz Voodoo3 card in select Gateway Performance desktop PCs available today from Gateway.

According to research firm PC Data, the 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 and 2000 are the hottest selling video cards in retail stores throughout North America. Three versions of the Voodoo3 3000 and 2000 have captured the top three spots in research firm PC Data's tally of best-selling video cards. Through its PC-OEM partners and though retail channels, 3dfx has shipped more than 10 million products to date.
