Sanyo and Quanta to start a global TV business alliance in October
Sanyo Electric and Quanta Computer have decided to form a strategic alliance for their global TV businesses. In specific terms, Sanyo has decided to spin-off development and purchasing operations of its TV business and establish a new company in October 2006, and Quanta plans to invest a 19% stake in the new company.
