Toshiba and Sandisk mark construction start of 300 mm wafer fab for NAND flash in Japan
Toshiba and Sandisk today announced that they begin construction of 12" fab Fab 4 for NAND flash production, following the companies’ agreement that was announced in April 2006. Fab 4 will house an initial monthly capacity of 2500 wafers when it starts production in the fourth quarter of 2007.
