Samsung said to be improving production for MLC NAND flash
The supply and demand of NAND flash chips are expected to reach an overall balance situation in the third quarter of 2006, as Samsung Electronics’ multi level cell (MLC) production gradually improves, according to DRAM module makers.
Currently, supply of NAND flash is behind demand by a slight 2-3% and the range will narrow, as Samsung is gradually solving issues with its MLC production.
