Samsung to unveil 40" backlit LCD TV in September
Samsung Electronics plans to launch in September a 40" LCD TV that features an LED backlight, according to a recent report from research firm Displaybank. The 40" LED TV targets the European market with a price tag of $3000, noted the report, which added that the new TV will source panels from S-LCD, a joint venture between Samsung Electronics and Sony.
