The Korea Economic Daily reported that with tight supply in flash memory, SRAM and DDR SDRAM, Samsung Electronics has decided to convert its main DRAM production lines 6 and 7 to manufacture flash, SRAM and system LSIs. Samsung plans to invest 160.8 billion won (about US$136 million) in equipment.
