Samsung files countersuit against Rambus
Following the Muhammad Ali theory of reciprocity ("He hit me, so I hit him back"), Korean electron giant Samsung has filed a countersuit against Rambus seeking declaratory relief action. Days ago, Rambus terminated a licensing agreement with Samsung and alleged in a court case that Samsung has infringed on its patents by producing a wide variety of computer memory chips.
Rambus alleges in this suit and others that a huge portion of the memory produced in the last 10 years violates its patents for RDRAM.
