Samsung to offer Belkin MP3 player accessories
Samsung Electronics, in an attempt to boost sales of its MP3 players, will offer various MP3 player accessories to be made by US-based Belkin on an ODM basis, with volume production to begin later this quarter at the earliest and Taiwan to be among the markets for the first launch, according to Samsung Electronics Taiwan. SanDisk, on September 2 at the 2006 IFA (International Funkaussellung) consumer electronics trade fair in Berlin, Germany, announced the launch of a variety of accessories specifically designed to match its Sansa series MP3 player models next quarter.
