Samsung Announces Its iPhone Killer, The Ultra Smart F700

Alright, so maybe "Ultra Smart F700" doesn’t have quite the same ring or brand recognition to it as "The iPhone", but Samsung has really gone and thrown a bit of a gauntlet down in Apple’s general direction with this new phone.
Basically the F700 is an iPhonewithmorebellsandwhistles, containing a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard on top of the fully touch sensitive screen. Oh, and 7.2 Mbps of HSDPA lovin’ with some EDGE backup, in case you go out of 3G range. I mean, bugger me... 7.2 Mbps ?
The F700 is pretty much the same size as the iPhone, measuring 104 x 50 x 16.4mm with a 2.78", 440x240 pixel touch screen. Other features include a 5 mega pixel camera (I’m going to go have a nice lie down now...), microSD memory expansion, full HTML browsing and a Flash UI / document browser as well as Bluetooth.
No details on pricing or availability just yet, but heaven knows we’ll hear about it when there is... The iPhone just met its nemesis, I suspect.
