Samsung said to be not offering NAND flash discounts to major customers
Although speculation of discounts offered by Samsung Electronics to its major NAND flash customers are circulating in the market, company sources refuted the report and stressed that Samsung would not conduct any unfair pricing policies. Samsung raised its NAND flash quotes by 20% for its contract customers in early August amid a blackout at its Korea fabs, the result of which has led to protests from a number of memory module makers, the sources indicated.
