Sammy Sosa part of new Triple Play basball game
Electronic Arts is shipping Triple Play 2000 for the PlayStation, the PC, and the Nintendo 64 system.
In addition to cameo appearances by 1998 National League MVP Sammy Sosa, Triple Play 2000 features several enhancements, including a new batting control that gives the player increased precision and accuracy with more points of contact in order to pull the ball, drive it to the opposite field or swing for the fences.
Triple Play 2000 for the PC is optimized for use with the 3Dfx Voodoo 2 3D-accelerator card, and it supports other major Direct3D accelerator cards.
