Warner prices first HD DVD titles at $29

Warner Home Video (WHV) announced late Thursday that it will release its first three movies on HD DVD on April 18. The launch will miss the introduction date of the first two HD DVD players later this month by at least three weeks. But Warner indicated that high definition movies on HD DVD may be priced slightly lower than movies on the competing Blu-ray format. -
Warner Home Video announces four Blu-ray titles for 1 August

Today, Warner Home Video announced its initial roster of four movie releases for the Blu-ray format, for general availability on 1 August. By our count, Warner has announced or released 37 titles for the HD DVD format, which was the first the studio originally supported.
