    Engineers at a small New Zealand television station are using inexpensive Chinese woks to keep their station on the air. Unable to afford $20,000+ commercial uplinks, the engineers at 45 South (Channel 41 UHF) used $10 woks to beam video from their base station to a repeater located on top of Cape Wanbrow. They claim the woks have worked superbly with the signals reaching up to 20km.
