  On Monday, while some may have been writing "advance obituaries" in case Toshiba ended up delaying the HD DVD rollout into oblivion, the technology that some analysts described as "on the ropes" began staging a Muhammad Ali-like comeback in its battle against Blu-ray, with Microsoft and Intel joining the HD DVD Promotions Group.
