  • Apple TV runs Mac OS X, review reveals

    Apple TV is shipping to customers and the first reviews are beginning to reveal more details about how the system works. The Wall Street Journal has published a review which says that Apple TV does run a slightly modified version of the Mac OS X, though they found that the lack of direct internet access - for example to allow users to purchase products from iTunes directly to the Apple TV box - is a minor point of contention.
