    Charles Band: The Accidental Pioneer Charles Band is something of a low-budget renaissance man: a B-movie and pulp video game pioneer. He built his own video production companies in the early days of Betamax and VHS, turned "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Halloween" into video games, and directed and produced numerous low-budget B-movies like "Parasite" and "Trancers."
