Lite-On Technology to sell 6% of Lite-On IT

Lite-On IT, the largest manufacturer of optical disc drives in Taiwan, recently raised its OEM quotation for half-height (H/H) combo drives by 3%-5% to US$35-40, according to Michael Gong, general manager of the company's optical disc drive business unit.

Lite-On IT, Taiwan's largest manufacturer of optical disc drivers, will start volume production of 16x DVD Dual (+RW & -RW) burners for ODM/OEM clients by the end of this month, according to general manager of the company's Optical Disc Drive Business Unit, Michael Gong.
