While his character didn't have a name, he was know as the "Second Jive Dude" and really only appeared in two scenes in the film. Gibbs played the role of "First Jive Guy," and he and White play two passengers on the doomed flight in "Airplane!" who speak in incoherent but humorous "jive." In their first scene, Gibbs and White talk to one another while hilarious subtitles translate their jive talk....
