    UPDATE: The bad news often comes at the end of the week: The Office 2007 release, once slated for this October, is being pushed out indefinitely, to what Microsoft now states to be "early 2007" for the consumer release. It isn't clear, from a developer's perspective, why the delay is happening, although the company is officially crediting/blaming tester response. Is that really the case?
