    Sunday 16 April 2006 – 12:27

Doom is fairly 2D to the modern gamer in many more ways than just the graphics. However if you compare the two in the far more existential realms of impact on the industry and on individual gamers, Doom the First would probably come up trumps.

    Monday 25 March 2002 – 06:00
A good sound card is definitely a critical factor for serious gaming or for listening to music on a PC. But it's not everything! It's much better to add a good 4.1 or 5.1 sound system if you need power and quality. The best sound card in the world will not be much good if it doesn't have adequate speakers to match. And don't forget the quality/price ratio. In the end, all these factors make it hard to find the optimal solution. We put 13 speakers to the test in order to help you make a decision and introduce you to a wide range of products.
