Russians to get cheap Windows XP
A report claimed Microsoft will start selling a cheapo version of Windows XP by the end of year in a bid to prevent it being pirated and to stamp out any nascent move to the Linux OS.
The story also claims that a fifth Asian country will get a version of Microsoft’s Starter Edition - a cut down version of its premier operating systems platform.
