RTCW Enemy Territory Retail Release Cancelled
I don't know how we missed this one, but id Software and Activision have announced that they are canceling the retail release of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. According to the release despite a strong effort from the developers, the single play part of the game isn't coming together as well as they would have hoped. While the single player retail release has been canceled, the multiplayer part of the game still seems to be a go. The multiplayer version will be offered as a free download once it is completed according to the update on the Activision web site.
