Rockstar to offer "Special Edition" of Grand Theft Auto IV
New York (NY) - Grand Theft Auto IV, scheduled for an October 16 release, will be offered as a regular video game as well as, for some extra cash, as a "Special Edition" in a "customized metal safety box."
For those gamers who expect more than just a game in a standard box, Rockstar Games will be offering the Special Edition GTA IV in a nice box and a few extra goodies. The custom metal custom will be available for games for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 and contain an Art Book with "never-before-seen production artwork," the GTA IV soundtrack CD, a Rockstar keychain for the safety deposit box keys and a "limited edition Rockstar duffel bag." The company promises that "all of the items have been created with the utmost attention to detail."
The GTA IV Special Edition is priced at $90. It is available for pre-order beginning today.
