Robots to wash old people in as little as 20 years
Japanese scientists predict that one day in the not so distant future, robots will become our primary caregivers.
Parents always say they can’t wait until they’re so old they’re a burden on their ungrateful kids. Well, that day might never come. Thanks to technology, your kids could be free as birds while robots take care of you.
Futurologists (there is such a thing ?) are saying that by 2030 all those boring, time consuming tasks like caring for your parents in their time of need could be carried out by advanced robots made from even more advanced plastics.
The report also predicted that in the future we’d all be wirelessly tagged. The tags will keep medical tabs on us and should we fall ill, help (no doubt of the robotic variety) would be immediately summoned.
