Robotic arms stitch leaky heart
A man has made medical history by becoming Canada’s first person to have a robot fix his faulty heart valve. The four-hour procedure was the first mitral-valve repair done completely robotically in Canada, said cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Alan Menkis.
