Dell Computer Corp. has made Nvidia Corp.'s Riva TNT the 3D graphics processor of choice for its Pentium III-based Dimension XPS T500 PCs, scheduled to ship in the spring of 1999.
With the introduction of its new "Detonator" software, Nvidia's Riva TNT is optimized for the Intel Pentium III processor. Nvidia has added support for the new CPU's Streaming SIMD Extensions to take full advantage of the capabilities of the Pentium III processor, according to Nvidia officials.
More information on Riva TNT is posted on Nvidia's web site at http://www.nvidia.com
