RIAA wins Web radio case
Internet radio operators without broadcast counterparts are pleased by a legal ruling that upholds the need for conventional radio stations simulcasting on the Internet to pay the same streaming fees paid by Webcasters. The National Association of Broadcasters filed the suit in March against the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) challenging the fees.
