RF CMOS to help drive down handset ASPs
CMOS process technology is enjoying increasing use in handset-use radio frequency (RF) transceiver chips, according to iSuppli, and the research firm believes CMOS RF transceivers will be employed in 40 percent of wireless handset shipments worldwide by 2009.
