Renesas plans to opt out of NAND flash production completely, say sources
With Renesas Technology already outsourcing its 4 Gb NAND flash production to Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC), the Japan-based memory maker will now completely opt out of NAND flash production this year, according to company sources. Renesas Taiwan stated that it considers any news not officially published by the company as merely market speculation.
