Recession hits virus makers
It had to happen eventually. Apparently, the recession is hitting the world of virus and worm makers. Their producitivity is going down, and in the first six months of this year, the level of mischief was low. It could be better anti-virus software, or tighter laws, or more vigilant computer users, but it could also be a slack job market has frightened hackers and now, instead of poring over malicious code, they're trying to come up with a better way of saying, "I brought down the nation's communications system, and like to skateboard in my spare time."
