Realtek GbE chip production to be delayed until 4Q, sources say
Realtek Semiconductor's first Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) MAC/PHY single chip did not complete first-cut sampling due to a technical bug between the chip and motherboards, said first-tier motherboard makers and competing IC design firms.
