RealNetworks plugs latest video player
RealNetworks unveiled the latest version of its Internet video player, calling it the technological breakthrough that will help break down the distinctions between traditional video and Internet video.
According to the company, 70 percent of those surveyed said the enhanced video quality of RealSystem 8, when viewed over a broadband connection, was as good as or better than traditional VHS tape quality.
The player also features new Web capabilities including support for HTML forms, scrolling and buttons, as well as support for streaming MP3 files.
