The biggest computer hardware junkies are also frequently big-time game enthusiasts. In fact, the main reason many folks learn to build those fire-breathing machines is to get more gaming horsepower without pitching bucks to Dell or Gateway. To help you get your gaming fix on the cheap, RealNetworks has just launched its RealArcade online service with 120 PC games that include 3D downloadable games, massively multiplayer games, and web-based games. The service launched with five exclusive titles including Tex Atomic Big Bot Battles, Super Bubble Pop, Kayak Extreme, Evernight, and SmallBall. The games on RealArcade are available on a "try before you buy" basis, so you can try them out without committing to a purchase. Downloadable games have free demos and vary in price ranging from $9.99 to $19.99 for the full versions; community-based subscription games are free for the first 30 days and $4.95 per month after that; and web games are free. You can pick up the beta release of RealArcade for free at the service's site .
